PLA introduction

Polylactic acid is one of the most used printing materials worldwide and in our professional 3D printing service, its lower printing temperature means its easier to print and used for detail in intricate parts.

We only use eco PLA in our products, made from renewable sources, and so is biodegradable.

Description

Pros

A thermoplastic; so can be reheated once already in shape without causing mechanical degrading

Good mechanical properties; has high tensile and flexural strength

Cons

Relatively low melting temperature

The dimensional accuracy is not great, so lines are likely to be visible
